I'm listening to Purple Rain on Yahoo! Launch... my son comes in and sees me doing the wave and says, "Mom!  You are NOT one of THOSE people!!!!" 


He had me at hello LOL...

We had a surprise birthday party last night for one of the ladies at my church... only since she was 90 we couldn't yell, "Surprise!" cuz it might be too much for her heart.  Flo is such a cutie, we all adore her.  We had a nice time of fellowship together despite the rain, which we did really need.

Another friend of ours, Anthony C. had to go to the emergency room right from the church supper.  He has polycystic kidney disease (so does their daughter, it is inherited) and has had a fever all week and now blood in the urine and pain in his back.  This is the second outbreak he has had.  Please keep him and his family in your prayers if you are inclined to pray. 

I'm not sure if my daughter will get to make her confirmation this next month or not.  She missed a lot of Sunday school being in the hospital and now she has to make up a whole lot of work in very little time.  If it is meant to happen then God will let it happen.  I'm not going to make myself crazy(er) over it.

Springsteen's new album (can I still say ALBUM?) comes out Tuesday... but the first and title cut, "Devils and Dust" is already being played on radio and the net.... pretty good, but I still prefer the man WITH the band.  Listen to "Devils and Dust" on AOL Music here.
Both kids have the day off from school tomorrow
so maybe we will go to the county park or the beach if it is nice out. 
Somewhere I can stretch my legs where it's not too hard to push the stroller...

Yep I'm a dork, geek, dweeb, nerd and proud of it... when I can think coherently. I dunno about being optimistic... put it this way I would not want to live with ME! But thanks for the kudos, it's always nice to hear encouragement! Especially from someone who's opinion I value like yours Wendy.
